I want to start off by saying thank you so much for taking the time to enter my little contest! I'm sorry to say this entry did not win, but the competition was so heated with all the amazing entries - I wish I could award all of you ;;3;;<3
I'm not sure if you caught my feedback on my journal but I wanted to take the time to leave it here too - I really do adore this more than I can put into words!
The way you captured the creepy side of the species is just amazing, I love the shading of the tar/goop from her hand and eye as well as the detailed linework on her glove and the trees, the whole piece really is brought together so well and the cross-hatched shading mixed with the painterly style you used for the character works a lot better than I would have thought!
The colour of the sky in the background fits really well here too, you have done so many levels of justice to my character - thank you so much for taking the time to enter my contest!
